Responsibilities:

·       Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.

·       Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial documents.

·       Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.

·       Monitor accounts receivable, track outstanding invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.

·       Assist in preparing and processing payroll.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

·       Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

·       Monitor budget expenditures and report any variances.

·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·       Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.

·       Assist in internal and external audits.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.

·       Track and report on project costs and budgets.

·       Assist project managers with financial aspects of construction projects.

·       Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.

·       Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

·       Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

·       Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualification:

·       Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·       Minimumof 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.

·       Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

·       Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

·       Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

·       Proficiency of Maestro Software
