Description

Melatti owns a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential and industrial properties situated in Montreal.

Groupe Melatti construction division is currently looking for a project manager (5-10 years’ experience) capable of coordinating the launch and completion of upcoming residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible to autonomously plan projects, ensure the allocation of adequate resources in collaboration with the site manager and monitor the schedule and budget.

Description of work:

  • Analyze plans and suggest improvements
  • Creation of project scope
  • Mitigate risks
  • Analyze quotes
  • Creation and monitoring of project schedule (MS Projects)
  • Creation of budget
  • Management of tender process
  • Negotiation of contracts
  • Assisting in coordination meetings
  • Coordination of shop drawings
  • Coordination of change orders
  • Collaboration with the director and site manager

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years or more of experience in construction project management
  • Driver’s license
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook)
  • Ability to understand architectural, structural and mechanical plans
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of construction practices
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and French
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sub trades and professionals to ensure successful project completion
  • Strong work ethic and highly motivated
  • Confident and positive
  • Ability to prioritize and be flexible
